Librarians can use different strategies to engage students in a virtual classroom. These strategies include: 1) Use of props; and 2) Use of Total Physical Response (TPR). This session will teach librarians about these research-based strategies, and will also provide many fun ideas and examples of how to engage and motivate students while teaching library students virtually. Handouts and materials will be provided and can be easily incorporated into any K-5 library classroom.
