Tennessee's children are still falling far behind national standards in education, and in order to change these numbers, it is time for libraries and other organizations to rethink their roles in preparing children and their parents for academic success. Thanks to an IMLS grant, Tennessee librarians have the opportunity to use the School Readiness Toolkit to help children in their communities be better prepared for Kindergarten. Come learn more about the Toolkit and upcoming training opportunities for public librarians to learn how to use the toolkit in their planning.
